TRUNSPORT and CYCERONE Join Forces to Strengthen Europe's Cybersecurity Ecosystem
TRUNSPORT is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the CYCERONE project, marking an important step towards strengthening cybersecurity resilience, knowledge sharing, and skills development across Europe.
Both initiatives share a common vision: building a stronger and more secure digital future for critical infrastructures, organizations, and citizens. Through this collaboration, TRUNSPORT and CYCERONE will combine their complementary expertise to support cybersecurity awareness, capacity building, and innovation within the European cybersecurity landscape.
TRUNSPORT is developing a next-generation Cyber Support Hub (CSH) designed to enhance preparedness, protection, and resilience in the transport sector and other critical infrastructures. The project leverages advanced capabilities such as AI-driven risk assessment, system mapping, vulnerability analysis, and cybersecurity support services to help organizations better understand and address cyber risks.
At the same time, CYCERONE focuses on closing the cybersecurity skills gap across Europe by providing specialized, free cybersecurity training programmes for SMEs, public administrations, and professionals.
Through its extensive network of academic, research, and industry partners, the project is creating a vibrant learning ecosystem that empowers organizations and individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to address today’s evolving cyber threats.
By bringing together TRUNSPORT’s technological and operational cybersecurity expertise with CYCERONE’s educational and training capabilities, the two projects aim to:
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and knowledge sharing across sectors.
- Bridge the gap between cutting-edge cybersecurity research and practical skills development.
- Support stakeholders operating in transport and critical infrastructure environments.
- Contribute to a stronger, more resilient European cybersecurity ecosystem
The collaboration will create opportunities for joint dissemination activities, exchange of best practices, community engagement initiatives, and cross-project cooperation designed to maximize the impact of both projects.
