The TRUNSPORT project was officially launched during a two day kick-off meeting held on 29-30 January 2026 in Thessaloniki. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Evangelos Mitsakis, Project Coordinator, on behalf of the Center for Research and Technology Hellas – Hellenic Institute of Transport.

The event brought together all eight consortium partners: the Center for Research and Technology Hellas – Hellenic Institute of Transport (Greece), eBOS Technologies (Cyprus), EVIDEN Technologies SRL (Romania), the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (Greece), Deep Blue SRL (Italy), Incites Consulting SA (Luxembourg), the Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator (Greece), and the Societa’ per Azioni Esercizi Aeroportuali Sea (Italy).

During the meeting, each partner presented their Work Packages and Tasks. In addition, the Project Officer from the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre delivered a presentation outlining the European Commission’s guidelines relevant to the project. The meeting concluded with discussions on upcoming activities, responsibilities, and the next steps required to ensure smooth and effective project implementation.
