TRUNSPORT has successfully reached Milestone 3: DMP and DEC Plan, marking an important step forward in the project’s implementation with the submission of Deliverable D1.2 – Data Management Plan (DMP) and Deliverable D5.1 – Dissemination, Exploitation and Communication (DEC) Plan. This milestone was scheduled for Month 6 (June 2026) and represents a key achievement in establishing the foundations for the project’s technical, communication, and impact-oriented activities.

The Data Management Plan (DMP) defines the framework for the secure, ethical, and compliant handling of data generated and processed throughout the project. It outlines procedures for data collection, storage, sharing, protection, and long-term management, ensuring alignment with GDPR requirements and other relevant legal and ethical standards.

At the same time, the DEC Plan establishes TRUNSPORT’s strategy for dissemination, communication, and exploitation activities. The plan sets out how the project will engage stakeholders, raise awareness of cybersecurity challenges in the transport sector, promote project results, and maximise the long-term impact and uptake of the solutions developed throughout the project’s lifetime.
